Visual Storyteller
It all started in the London Metropolitan University where I have studied masters in Film and TV production. I landed my first production job as a focus puller for a TV series and on my first day, I was in charge of getting the shots in focus in front of a crew of 52, that was a day I will never forget!
After becoming a pro at focus pulling, I worked my way up to a Camera Operator and stayed in this area for over 5 years, filming across big movie blockbusters such as the movie '300', and popular TV shows including 'Big Brother'.
My previous experience has led to my first opportunity as a Director and Producer for documentaries series and leading TV shows, which ended being my position for over the next three years of my life.
Meanwhile, I have developed strong skills and love for Visual Effects and Post Production, including producing 2D and 3D animation. In my spare time, I have gained the opportunity to work as a creative director on commissions and as a freelancer for agencies collaborating on exciting projects all over the world.
It was after living for a while in the United States of America when I started to apply these skills to the corporate world.
I quickly realised the vast potential video and animation was having for businesses and how it was elevating their brand by visually portraying their mission and message.
For the last nine years living in London, I have continued to grow my skills and knowledge working with brands including Barclays, Unilever, Crimson Hexagon, YouTube, Canon as well as social enterprises like Soap Co and Business In The Community which is the Prince’s Responsible Business Network.
Working with different businesses means one week I can be filming in London and the next week directing a voice over in a studio in New York - which is what I love the most in my job. I enjoy reading and socialising and meeting new people is an essential thing for me as well as building a strong network of producers, cinematographers, sound engineers, editors, musicians, animators and graphic designers.
